A look at the Five-Percent Nations beliefs
One of the main concepts essential to the
Five-Percent Nations philosophy is the
5%, 85% and 10%.The five percent nation understands that the population breaks down
into these three important groupings. They
believe that 85% of the Nation is mentally
blinded, unaware of the powers of evil at
work in the world.
The 10% of the Nation on the other hand
are the source ofthese evils, knowing the truth of goodness but choosing to ignore it and continue doing wrong. These people keep the rest of the population in ignorance and are often corrupt leaders.
Finally there is the 5%, the part of the nation who are enlightened to evils and who strive to do good and teach truth instead on injustice. Unlike the teachings of christianity and islamic religion, God is believed those
who are the 5%. The Five-Percent Nation believes in the ability of divinity and God like features in people, therefore teaching the enlightened self as God.
